Shopping Centres & Bad Jokes

Hello. Edinburgh was a third last date of the AMP Tour. It was also in a shopping centre. The cloakroom was a load of hangers on stands outside french connection. The bathrooms were two escalators down. The dancefloor was the foodhall!! It was deffo the most bizarre location for a gig.
The crowd was 1700 strong and totally crazy. there were a few problems with crushing at the front as the barriers weren't strong enough when i came on so apologies for all the stopping and starting but we were worried for the people at the front who looked like they were in pain. I eventually had to kill the music and come off stage as the crushing got so bad. When i came back on I tried to tell a joke to lighten the atmosphere. SO SORRY. What a bad joke. I'm not going to repeat it here but anyone who was there should know as long as you haven't blocked it out of your memory forever. After that it was all ok and Simian Mobile Disco absolutely smashed it. Thanks to Fake Blood, Dj Doorly and Young Fathers as well.

I had the best night of my life seeing Annie Mac and co!! Thanks for putting on a good set and the tunes were amazing.. It was out of order the way the crowd were when annie came on.. someone actually threw a drink on stage when she stopped and walked off stage! But you dont the right thing Annie :) Enjoy the rest of your tour xx
